Why was my game removed from Stake?
Stake Engine reserves the right to disable any published game if issues are discovered after release. If your game has disappeared from stake.com or stake.us, it has most likely been removed due to a detected problem.
Why games get disabled
Games may be removed for reasons including but not limited to:
- Bugs or errors - gameplay-breaking issues, crashes, or unexpected behavior reported by players or detected internally.
- Math or payout discrepancies - irregularities in the game’s math model or RTP that deviate from the approved specification.
- Performance issues - excessive load times, memory leaks, or rendering failures affecting the player experience.
- Compliance concerns - content or behavior that no longer meets platform or regulatory requirements.
What happens next
When a game is disabled:
- The game is removed from the lobby and is no longer accessible to players.
- Your approval thread will be reopened so the Stake Engine team can communicate the issue to you directly.
- You will need to identify and fix the reported problem.
- Once fixed, submit the updated build for re-review through the same thread.
What you should do
If your game has disappeared from Stake:
- Check your approval thread for messages from the Stake Engine team describing the issue.
- Fix the reported problems and submit an updated build.
- Do not create a new submission - use the existing reopened thread.
