How does game ranking work after release?

When your game is approved and released, it is placed at the bottom of the New Releases list. It will remain there until the next scheduled ranking cycle.

Weekly ranking schedule

Games are re-ranked every Friday (Australian time). During each ranking cycle, all recently released games are evaluated and repositioned within the lobby based on performance and other ranking criteria.

This means:

• If your game is released on a Monday, it will sit at the bottom of New Releases until Friday.
• If your game is released on a Thursday, it will be re-ranked the following day.
• Regardless of when your game goes live, the first ranking update happens on the next Friday after release.

What to expect

1. Release - your game is approved and goes live at the bottom of the New Releases list.
2. Wait - the game remains in that position until the next Friday ranking cycle.
3. Re-rank - on Friday (Australian time), all games are re-ranked based on their performance.
4. Repeat - rankings are updated every Friday on an ongoing weekly basis.

This weekly cycle applies to all games on the platform, not just new releases.
